Product Description

Zen-O™ is a best in class portable oxygen concentrator with pulse and continuous oxygen delivery modes for active patients requiring oxygen therapy. Zen-O™ features breath sensitivity and Rate Response Therapy™ (RRT) that automatically adjusts to the patient's demands.

Zen-O™ delivers up to 2 litres of oxygen per minute in response to the patient's need. Unlike other devices that deliver a fixed amount of oxygen, Zen-O™ automatically increases the amount of oxygen delivered if a patient's breath rate rises.

  • 2 x 12 cell lithium-ion batteries
  • AC power supply
  • Car charger
  • Power cord
  • Pull cart

  • Simple and Easy to Use Zen-O™ is designed with patients in mind. It is simple to use with intuitive button operation and LCD display.
  • Eco Mode The Eco Mode feature allows users to switch the operation of the device from Rate Responsive to Fixed Minute Volume for longer battery duration.
  • Auto Mode The Auto Mode feature activates after 60 seconds if no breath is detected. The device will automatically deliver pulses at a rate of 18 breaths per minute to the user. This feature allows users to continue receiving some oxygen if the cannula is dislodged.
  • Easily Replaceable Sieve Beds Zen-O™ has been designed with sieve beds that can be replaced easily by most homecare providers without the need to return the device to a distributor.
  • FAA Approved Zen-O™ is approved for use on commercial airlines, giving you the confidence to travel without interrupting your oxygen therapy.
  • Durable and Reliable Zen-O™ is rugged and is supplied with a 3 year warranty or 15,000 hours of total use, giving you the assurance of quality and reliability.
  • Manufactured to High Standards Zen-O™ is manufactured in the UK and USA to the exacting standards of the European Medical Directive and United States Food and Drug Administration.

Oxygen should only be given according to the prescription and guidance of a certified healthcare provider. We recommend discussing your device options and suitability with your prescribing doctor before making a purchase to ensure the device meets your oxygen needs. Some devices deliver oxygen in a pulse dose, meaning you receive oxygen when you inhale. If you choose a pulse dose device, it must be tested by your healthcare provider to confirm its appropriateness for your treatment and to get advice on the correct settings.

TRAVELING WITH A OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
The FAA allows these device on board most U.S. aircrafts. If they have a FAA approval, they should allow the oxygen concentrator on board with the supply of the MSDS document.

IMPORTANT:It is the responsibility of the patient to check with the specific airline carrier when traveling domestically and internationally.

Just because a oxygen concentrator is FAA approved, does not automatically mean a customer will be allowed to take the machine on the plane. It is up to the discretion of every flight, airline, airline pilot etc if the machines or batteries are allowed to be carried on board.

When traveling with the device, be sure to bring the AC Power Supply and the External Battery Charger (if you have one) with you. It is advisable to use external power (i.e., plugged into a wall) whenever it is available to keep the battery fully charged. Bring enough charged batteries with you to power your concentrator for no less than 150% of the expected duration of your flight, ground time before and after the flight, security screenings, connections and a conservative estimate for unanticipated delays. Note that per FAA regulations, all extra batteries are to be individually wrapped and protected to prevent short circuits and carried in carry-on baggage onboard aircraft only. The AC Power Supply cannot be used to charge the device battery when onboard aircraft. If traveling by bus, train or boat, contact your carrier to find out about power port availability.
