Product Description
The Porter breathing system is the only double mask (mask-within-a-mask) system in the market and shows Porter's innovation in sedation dentistry. The Porter double mask scavenger breathing circuit features an outer hood and the option for either a flexible autoclavable or single-use-disposable inner liner.
The inner liner creates a complete, yet comfortable seal around the patient’s nose – thus assuring the Porter mask’s superior scavenging efficiency. Porter’s unique double mask has proven time and again to be the most efficient system for scavenging of waste nitrous oxide leading to more effective patient sedation and cost savings to the practice. Porter Autoclavable Hoods are available in two sizes: Adult & Children.
Porter breathing circuit packages include: Fresh gas tubing, scavenger breathing coaxial tubing, adult autoclavable hood (with 3 inner liners) vacuum line hose and the Porter In-Line Vacuum Control. Mega Medical is the licensed distributor for these products on the Australian market.

TRAVELING WITH A OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
The FAA allows these device on board most U.S. aircrafts. If they have a FAA approval, they should allow the oxygen concentrator on board with the supply of the MSDS document.
IMPORTANT:It is the responsibility of the patient to check with the specific airline carrier when traveling domestically and internationally.
Just because a oxygen concentrator is FAA approved, does not automatically mean a customer will be allowed to take the machine on the plane. It is up to the discretion of every flight, airline, airline pilot etc if the machines or batteries are allowed to be carried on board.
When traveling with the device, be sure to bring the AC Power Supply and the External Battery Charger (if you have one) with you. It is advisable to use external power (i.e., plugged into a wall) whenever it is available to keep the battery fully charged. Bring enough charged batteries with you to power your concentrator for no less than 150% of the expected duration of your flight, ground time before and after the flight, security screenings, connections and a conservative estimate for unanticipated delays. Note that per FAA regulations, all extra batteries are to be individually wrapped and protected to prevent short circuits and carried in carry-on baggage onboard aircraft only. The AC Power Supply cannot be used to charge the device battery when onboard aircraft. If traveling by bus, train or boat, contact your carrier to find out about power port availability.
