The Big Red Advanced Emergency Oxygen Resuscitation Kit is a professional backpack with a Defibrillator pouch, designed as a first response first aid kit for the professionally trained medical person in the pre-hospital environment.
Configured for rapid access and efficient use, this oxygen resuscitation kit supports airway management, oxygen delivery, and suction in critical situations. Having a durable, lightweight concealed backpack harness allows for hands-free movement in open and confined spaces. A variety of different-sized internal pouches gives ultimate storage capabilities when working with the additional accessories.
The ‘Advanced’ Big Red resuscitation kit is a backpack version of the long-standing Oxy Viva unit. Including all of the accessories and items of this product but in a backpack option this kit is built to allow its operator to handle any emergency resuscitation situation they may encounter.
Different to the standard Big Red, this kit includes: Demand resuscitator with additional mask and 1m high pressure Oxygen hosing as well as the Suction Aspirator unit with 200mm connection hosing.

TRAVELING WITH A OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
The FAA allows these device on board most U.S. aircrafts. If they have a FAA approval, they should allow the oxygen concentrator on board with the supply of the MSDS document.
IMPORTANT:It is the responsibility of the patient to check with the specific airline carrier when traveling domestically and internationally.
Just because a oxygen concentrator is FAA approved, does not automatically mean a customer will be allowed to take the machine on the plane. It is up to the discretion of every flight, airline, airline pilot etc if the machines or batteries are allowed to be carried on board.
When traveling with the device, be sure to bring the AC Power Supply and the External Battery Charger (if you have one) with you. It is advisable to use external power (i.e., plugged into a wall) whenever it is available to keep the battery fully charged. Bring enough charged batteries with you to power your concentrator for no less than 150% of the expected duration of your flight, ground time before and after the flight, security screenings, connections and a conservative estimate for unanticipated delays. Note that per FAA regulations, all extra batteries are to be individually wrapped and protected to prevent short circuits and carried in carry-on baggage onboard aircraft only. The AC Power Supply cannot be used to charge the device battery when onboard aircraft. If traveling by bus, train or boat, contact your carrier to find out about power port availability.
