MediVac suction liners come equipped with two essential components - a shutoff valve and a bacterial filter. The shutoff valve automatically closes off the vacuum supply when the liner is full, ensuring that fluids don't back up into the vacuum system.
The bacterial filter, which is located above the shutoff valve in the lid, is present in all MediVac suction liners. This filter is designed to achieve a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of over 99%, effectively reducing the level of aerosolised bacterial contaminants (with an average size of 3 microns +/- 0.3) passing through the filter by at least 99%. Its purpose is to prevent bacterial contaminants from passing into the vacuum system, ensuring a cleaner, safer environment.
This liner is compatible with the MediVac Flex Reusable Suction Canister - 3000mL.
